Reply:what do you mean register sim cards to your name? you can register new accounts under your name. they do a credit check on you, if you have good credit -- you can add new accounts for as much as 5 accounts.
i've never heard of registering sim cards under your name.

Reply:yep, sim cards are all the same shape and size. If you buy a brand-new sim card, it will come as part of a larger card - roughly the same size as a credit card - which you then just snap out a small piece, with the gold-coloured chip, and there you go...you have your sim card, ready to use.

I have verizon and my new phone broke and i want to switch back to my old phone can i just do this switching the sim card? and how do i do that like where is it located

Verizon is CDMA, not GSM, so there is no SIM card to swap. This would work for a GSM phone. Alas you are out of luck.
Reply:Verizon don't use Sim cards.You will need to go to there website and switch phones there but you will not be able to switch the phones because the website will say that you already have a phone activated on the acc then you can call Verizon directly and tell them you tried online but is not working and they will tell you they will have to charge you i think it was $20 to switch phones but you tell them you already tried the website but it will not allow you and they should at that time wave the fee and activate the new one.

i have been thinking of buying the nokia n95, an unlocked one. was planning on using a sim card from another country so that they will be able to text me in an affordable way for them. i have the iphone right now and its only at at%26amp;t. so, i can`t use other sim cards. hope somebody out there knows about this kind of stuff and will answer my question. thanks....

Yes, they do work. Do all Sim cards work with all cell phones as long as they are unlocked?
if the phone is unlocked AND takes a sim card, then yes it will work. You may not be able to access the WAP service nor media messaging, but otherwise it will be fine. You'll need to check w/ the carrier you use to see if they have configuration settings for the phone you are using to enable those.

The same phone model that Boost sells for about $200.00. Nextel has a real racket going. My point is that if your phone is unblocked and it's an older model, it may allow you to use two sim cards.
