Do all pay as you go phones require SIM cards?

If so how often do you have to replace them and do pay as you go phones have texting and a camera?

Do all pay as you go phones require SIM cards?
The only sim card pay as you go in USA is At%26amp;T,or T Mobile.


Sprint and Verizon are not sim. The sim card is just an identy card telling the network you are a subcriber and have access.
Reply:You can use just about any kind of cell phone for prepaid service, depending on your carrier. Not all carriers use SIM cards, so you don't necessarily need one.

Reply:not all pay as you go phones need a sim card. Only gsm networks use sim cards. Also, if you go with a carrier who uses sim cards you only need one and it will last forever unless you lose it.
