Does virgin mobile use SIM cards in their phones?

To put it blunty, I really like one of the cell phones that Virgin Mobile sells. I'm wondering if I could buy one and literally pop my SIM card into it. Simplistic/naive thinking, but I thought I'd ask and see what happens.

Does virgin mobile use SIM cards in their phones?
, Depends on the model, el -chepo... no...
Reply:No, not with U.S. model Virgin Mobile phones, they are CDMA models. Virgin Mobile UK and a few other euro countries have sim card or gsm models.
Reply:yes all prepaid phones use sim cards.
Reply:Most prepaid phones use SIM cards except for Virgin Mobile. It doesn't matter what type of Virgin Mobile phone you have, ALL of the VM phones don't use Sim Cards
Reply:Yes all digital mobile phones use a SIM card, you may find that Virgin lock the handset so they only accept Virgin SIM's so it would be best to check before you buy.
