Does verizon sell sim cards?

I recently bought a non-verizon phone overseas and would like to use it over here. I know that most verizon phones don't come equipped with sim cards, but I know that their world phone has a sim card, so I figure that they must have some sim cards available. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Does verizon sell sim cards?
no, only Cingular a and T-Mobil! this is the problem here in the US....cell phone monopoly!! I have a world-phone too!

this is the website whee I buy my Sims cards!!

http://www.telestial.com/

but its only good for travel outside the US, like I already said....only cingular and t-Mobil...

yo....what's with all the thumbs down....
Reply:Verizon sells prepaid cards with minutes that you put on your phone. I don't know what a sim card is, but I think this is it.
Reply:No. Verizon works on a CDMA network, phones with SIM cards usually only work on a GSM network.

So if you're in the United States, your only options for national coverage are AT%26amp;T/Cingular (the largest), and T-mobile. If the phone's unlocked, just go to the local retail store and sign up for a card, or on a prepaid plan, it should slip in and work for th e most part.
Reply:Verizon's network is CDMA. They don't use sim cards. GSM phones are the only ones that use sim cards. GSM phones only work with GSM providers(like Cingular and T-Mobile). They can not be used on a CDMA network. They are two completely different technologies and are not compatible with each other.
