Where can I buy sim cards for mobile phones in the UK?

I want to buy them wholesale and resell them

Where can I buy sim cards for mobile phones in the UK?
Whatever you do - don't buy from eBay - I work for T-mobile and I see a lot of people who have bought sim cards from eBay to find they have been put into hibernation - i.e. suspended for non-use – this carries a £10 reconnection charge and so many aggravated customers. Other issues come up as well such as if registered you will not be able to pass privacy policy to access the accounts to change details, thus will make the sim cards pretty much useless.

I wouldn't really know about wholesale to be honest with you, not my area of expertise. I do know you can get the odd couple of sim cards from most network sites - e.g. http://www.t-mobile-campaign.co.uk/sim

It's worth grabbing them.
Reply:you need to contact each mobile operator that you want to sell the sim cards for. they will advise you of the best prices they can provide the cards at to you.

however in all honesty it is normally cheaper for customers to buy sim cards over the internet direct from the mobile operator that they wish to use.

good luck to you. but the market is saturated with cheap mobile accessories and as for the sim cards mobile operators do them normally for around £5 or less plus delivery. which makes you as a potential reseller with very little markup.

I remember when i worked for a local wholesaler they sold the top up scratch cards for mobile phones at 10% below face value. so i'm guessing they only made about a 10% profit per top up.

is it realy worth your time to buy and sell these cards? I'm guessing not.

www.o2.co.uk (.com) www.orange.com, www.virginmobile.com to name but a few of the hundreds of operators around the globe.

you would be best advised to find out the international phone operators and attempt to sell cheap pay as you go sim cards with a few pound of credit so people can take them on holiday and phone home cheaply. seems like a better option. but anyone with internet access can use skype to call any phone worldwide for the cost of virtually a local call www.skype.com with skype out credit available that is.
Reply:dont noe
Reply:you find alot of sim cards in eBay. Search for SIM Cards and you get a big list. Check it out.
Reply:They are giving free Sim cards in this website. You just need to register

Reply:I strongly suspect that you'd have to buy them as a normal customer and re-sell them on. In general this wouldn't really work since you'd have to sell them at a slightly higher price than you'd paid to even make a profit.

It's not even worth it, believe me.

DON'T buy SIM cards off eBay because you'd have to change the owner details and everything which is far too complex and requires for the original owner of the mobile account to allow for this to happen.

I assure you now that it's so not worth it at all and you could get into trouble.

If you still want to risk it them don't say I didn't warn you.
