cause i was given a sidekick 3 and theres no network. so i cant use any features first i was told i gotta call up tmobile customer service to get it connected. but then this boy told me my best bet is to go to a tmobile store and ask for a pre paid sim card . so i wanna kno is there any such thing as a pre paid sim card ?

Yes go to a Tmobile store and ask them for a sim card. They tell them you want to have it registered under a pre-paid service and they'll give you a new number and all you have to do is re-load the phone number with minutes everytime you run low. You can reload by checking account, debit/credit cards, or go to any grocery/department store (Target, Wal-Mart, Kroger) and you can buy one with cash.
Reply:they have a new pre paid plan called flex pay, you pay for you mintues up front and you can chose any montly plan without having a credit check done or contract
