Which cellular service providers still use SIM cards?

I am currently with Cellular One and I bought a SLVR off of ebay. My contract is going to run out soon, if it has'nt already, and I would like to know my options. (particularly something with leniant incoming text messages.) I want to keep my SLVR, so I would probably need to find a provider that also uses SIM cards.

Which cellular service providers still use SIM cards?
T-Mobile, AT%26amp;T(Cingular)
Reply:I know Tmoblie and Verizon do and I hae Sprint and I know they do not

Reply:"Still" use SIM cards is the wrong way to look at it. Almost all mobile operators outside the US use SIM cards and most of the US operators are moving in that direction. So the trend is toward more use of SIM cards, not less. The use of a SIM card indicates that the operator is providing service over a GSM network. In the US, Cingular and T-Mobile are the largest operators using a GSM network that should support your SLVR. Note that some operators lock their phones so they can't be used outside their network. But, since you purchased yours on eBay, I'll assume you got an unlocked one that should work with any GSM provider in the US. Just stay away from Verizon or Sprint/Nextel, since their phones use a different network that is not compatible with your phone.
Reply:T-mobile, Cingular, Nextel, Sprint, Verizon, all prepaid ones.
