We bought my daughter a Boost phone because her Nextel phone speaker went out and we are on contract with Nextel. All we needed was a new phone. The phone is asking for a "special access code". Does anyone have that code? According to Boost, I may be able to get it from Nextel but, of course , they are closed today.
Can nextel sim cards work in boost phones?
The phone is currently locked to Boost Mobile. You have to get the phone unlocked before it will work with a Nextel sim card. Boost Mobile is the one that you are supposed to be able to get the unlock code from. Nextel can only do it for Nextel phones.
Reply:Since it is a new phone, I am almost sure that the special access code if automatically set to 0000 which you can cutomize later. Try 0000. If it doesn't work...go to Nextel Tomorrow to see if they can help you.
